Location : AC Simões Campus, in the former CSAU, ESENFAR, Block D, 101.

Physical space : total area = 126.94 m2 in four environments.

Room 101 A : 64.80 m2, clinical furniture, equipment, mannequins, materials for permanent use and consumables, 12 built-in cabinets, 4 mobile benches, whiteboard and bulletin board;

Room 101 C : 41.60 m2, clinical furniture, 7 built-in cabinets, 1 fixed bench, whiteboard, bulletin board, projection screen, mats, equipment, mannequins and materials for permanent use and consumption.

Objectives:

  • Promote student training in the teaching-learning process to perform procedures with the person being assisted;
  • Promote the development of skills in the various areas of Nursing knowledge;
  • Promote safety and minimize the emotional impact on the student when performing basic techniques;
  • Minimize difficulties and doubts when carrying out procedures;
  • Promote integration of students at different levels of the Nursing Course;
  • Provide a suitable environment for practical classes where the simulation of real situations and the reproduction of therapeutic scenarios are possible;
  • Provide space for updating and improving nursing students, teachers and professionals;
  • Offer opportunities for the development of extension and research activities in the various areas of Nursing knowledge.
