The Research Coordination of the School of Nursing/EENF, whose regiment are currently under construction, is an operational body subordinate to the School of Nursing Management and whose purpose is to stimulate the development of research in the unit.

The integration of research and innovation activities with teaching and extension will be encouraged, aiming to the pursuit and critical and scientific construction of nursing knowledge and its interfaces with a view to the well-being, personal growth and social development, considering the institutional and world of work objectives, from the perspective of the comprehensive training of nursing students and professionals.

Today, in addition to ongoing research relevant to undergraduate studies, through Course Conclusion Papers (TCC’s) and the Lato Sensu (specialization, multi-professional residency) and Stricto Sensu (Postgraduate Program in Nursing/PPGENF) postgraduate programs, we have faculty researchers involved in two scientific initiation programs: PIBIC and PIBITI.
