This research group is interested in studies that expand the possibilities of caring for people in their lived reality. Therefore, it strives to seek care strategies beyond those typically practiced within the scope of disseminated knowledge and practice. Therefore, PROCUIDADO hopes to be seen as a space for the freedom of ethical and aesthetic propositions that aim to respond to the needs of people in their singularities. PROCUIDADO finds support for its research in the understanding of science as "a process before completion, a painful effort to perpetually begin again to think precisely" (MOLES, 1995, p. 16). PROCUIDADO agrees with Luckesi when he says that "the sensitivity to perceive phenomena and question them is the starting point for doing science" (LUCKESI, 2000, p. 75). Its studies are based on the person in their context and life circumstances, understanding PERSON as a unique being.
