Nurse and Psychologist. Full Professor at the EENF/UFAL School of Nursing. PhD in Nursing from the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing/USP. Master's in Education from the Methodist University of Piracicaba, São Paulo. Professor of the undergraduate nursing program and of the permanent staff of the nursing graduate program. Leader of the Austregésilo Carrano Bueno Research Group on Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs (GPESAM). Coordinator of the Laboratory of Mental Health, Reception, and Interpersonal Relationships (LACOLHE). She works in teaching, research, and outreach, developing projects on topics such as relational/soft technologies: listening, reception, empathy, interpersonal relationships, therapeutic communication; with individuals/families experiencing psychological distress and/or trauma; and mental disorders (depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, suicide, schizophrenia, and drug addiction). She intervenes with a Person-Centered and Systems approach. She completed the Advanced Management Program - APG. She believes that human contact is transformative through caring for others, unconditional acceptance, empathy, the expression of affection, and kindness. She loves life, being with people, and she is very happy.

PhD Professor Regina Célia Sales Santos

She holds a degree in Nursing from the Federal University of Alagoas (2000), a master's degree in Nursing from the Federal University of São Paulo (2010), and a PhD in Biotechnology from the Northeast Biotechnology Network [RENORBIO] - 2015. She is currently an Associate Professor 2 at the Federal University of Alagoas. She participates in the research group Study and Research Group on Quality and Safety in Health and Nursing - GEPEQUASS and is deputy leader of the research group Research and Technological Innovation Center in Wound Treatment. She is also a researcher linked to the Wound Treatment Research Laboratory (LpTF) of the School of Nursing (EENF) of the Federal University of Alagoas. She is a professor in the Graduate Program in Nursing (Academic Master's modality) linked to the research line Nursing, Science, Technology and Innovation for Care. She has experience in nursing, with an emphasis on nursing and biotechnology, focusing on clinical research for health, health technologies, evidence-based nursing, wound care with an emphasis on the development of products based on medicinal plants or synthetic substances, and nursing informatics. She teaches undergraduate nursing courses in the subjects Fundamental Skills Unit 1 and Integrated Learning Unit - Primary Care Nursing 2, as well as teaching postgraduate courses in health research methodology and writing, publishing, and analyzing scientific articles. She is a member of the core faculty of the undergraduate nursing program at the AC Simões Campus.

Gerimar de Souza Farias Segundo

He was hired on January 30, 2025, as an Administrative Assistant by the Federal University of Alagoas. He currently serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. He holds a degree in Ecology from the Federal University of Paraíba and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from Grancursos On-line. His previous professional experience includes: Administrative Assistant at the João Pessoa City Hall from August 2021 to August 2024; Administrative Assistant at IF Baiano from August 2024 to January 2025. He has experience in customer service, data processing, public archives, and general office work.
